My name is Fiona Day and I first arrived in Nepal in 2011. I was instantly captivated by it's nature, people and beauty. Years later and after opening my small and cosy guesthouse, Amore, in the heart of Kathmandu I am now excited to bring a part of Nepal to Dubai. My Kiosk which is located in the Springs town center is full of beautiful handmade handicrafts and natural skin care. Nepal has many amazing artisans and I'm so excited to share with you all!
Everything at Namaste is organic and handmade. All our skin care range is natural, vegan friendly and not tested on animals. Our tote bags are made from the hemp plants. Soon to arrive we will have scarfs & pashminas, a bamboo clothing range. We even have soaps packaged in elephant poop paper. I will work hard to provide sustainable packaging and help the environment as much as possible. Our carrier bags are made from recycled Lokta paper. Within the next six months our aim is all product packing will be biodegradable.
Namaste will also be supporting three local organisations every month in Nepal. Child Rescue Nepal, who work tirelessly to rescue innocent children from child trafficking. Blessed Hope Nepal, women in villages who are creating amazing handmade beaded bracelets. And lastly, animal medical center Nepal. Being a huge animal lover myself I am so happy I’m able to help the street animals in Nepal. I believe we should all give back, even if it's in a small way. Educating others on the importance of helping is a huge passion of mine!
I hope you love the handmade products as much as I do. Bringing a little piece of Nepal to the world, fills me with much happiness. Thank you for shopping at Namaste.
